I have purchased Corbin's before for other bikes and found that they lower the seat height. does any one have experience with the Corbin on their Bonneville. Lower is not better for me as I'm tall.

thanks

I have not purchased one, but I know that Corbin can add extra foam to the seat to raise the height.

I've purchased several seats from Corbin and they always were happy to add height at no extra cost.

I know Corbin can custom make the seat but is the standard seat lower than stock.

For what it's worth.......

I'm 5' 2" and asked the same question, though more specifically about the seat that comes with the Smuggler. The two answers I got (from fellow shortsters), was that the Corbin was actually taller than the factory seat.

This is a bit misleading though, as with short people the width of the seat is as relevant as the felt height.

I've had a couple seats made by Corbin. In my opinion, the best way to buy a Corbin's poser saddle, is to take your bike to Hollister and stay all day to have it tailored for YOUR needs.

You wanna wide, comfortable, and tall saddle? Look into the Russel Day Long, it's got wings......

I have the Corbin smuggler on my 04 Bonnie and it does sit lower than the original seat. I'm 5-8 and it's alittle low for me.

I switched out the stock seat on my Kawasaki W650 a few years back and initially found the Corbin solo (Gunfighter) saddle too low. However, when I replaced the stock handlebars with a lower, Euro-style bar, everything came back into place for me.
I plan to replace the stock seat on my recently-acquired T100 with a similar Corbin, and if it feels too low, the next thing I'll do is replace the stock Triumph handlebar with something lower and flatter.
