Well, it's been awhile since I've burned some greenbacks on my bike and with it being Christmas time and all....I think it's about time that I treated myself.

Hopefully I will place an order for some Hagon progressive springs and classic shocks, plus a gas tank rack, Pingel petcock, and an Ultra-Lite rear sprocket.

For the rear shocks, I plan on going with Hagon Classic Fully Shrouded Chome on Chromes (as if you couldn't guess that).
But what I don't know is if people are getting their aftermarket shocks longer or shorter then stock? Also, are people getting different weight settings, or just going with the standard settings?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the Ultra-Lite aluminum rear sprockets? Do they wear out quickly? If I can drop a couple of pounds of unsprung weight on the rear wheel, I would think that I would be able to rev and brake quicker.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Mark, thats the beauty of the Hagon shocks. You can get them to fit you.If your bike is a comfortable height now, then stock length is fine.Longer ones will give you more leg room [a little, anyway] but make the steering quicker, ala,Thruxton. Shorter gets you the other way,and if you leave the fork height alone, will slow the steering a bit. I believe the stock Hagon spring is a 110lb,which is IMO ok for 2up riding or aggressive solo work but ,again,IMO,too stiff for everyday riding if you weigh under 200lbs.[I have -30mm shocks/100lb springs] I use 110lb springs in summer when my wife might want to go for a ride. BC or Dave Quinn can get anything Hagon offers but you`ll have to wait probably for custom length/spring weight. Fork springs are easier,Hagon or Ikon [and others] just drop in,but ask for a fork oil change. The Hagons were good, but I switched to Ikon and have been quite happy with them. You can`t go wrong in any case.. No experience with aluminum sprockets. Just a note,Mark, I have Nitro`s not classics.Sorry if this skews your results.

Mark: I found my Hagon Classics a little weak two-up so I sent them to Mike at BellaCorse and he installed the next heavier springs for me. Quick turn-around and a fair price. Problem solved. I leave them on the lightest preload setting for solo riding and ramp them up for passengers.
