I am looking for an aftermarket front suspension to replace the oem version. Something a tad more stylish, has/does anyone know of a source to buy or reputable fab shop in the philly/balt area?

You looking for a whole new front fork? Before you end up spending the bucks, try taking off the fork shrouds. I put gaiters on mine, but you can do the chrome dust covers that fit 41mm if you're into that look. I tried 41mm dust covers for awhile before going with the gaiters. Chroming the triple trees, and/or powdercoating the lower legs might get you a better look you seek. Having all that done would be cheaper than buying a whole new front fork. It's been said that there's room for material to be removed on the lower triple tree.

You can also keep going with the slimmmed down front end look with a smaller headlight. I've seen pics of 5" headlights and with the shrouds removed it really slims down the look of the front end.

As far as going with a whole new front end, will need some fabricating as you'll probably run into steering head dimension problems when fitting something made for another bike or aftermarket. There was a guy on ba.com who put a Sportster front end on a wrecked Bonnie America. IIRC he said it took some work to make it fit.

If you're looking for a springer front end, QPD...same company that makes the belt drive conversions that newspeedmaster.com sells, says they offer custom springer front ends. Since they're at least familiar with our bikes, they might be able to come up with something that'll fit.

Good luck, and post pics of whatever you end up with.

I powdercoated my front end satin black and ditched the lower shrouds for gaiters. I kept the upper shrouds to retain the blacked-out look.

A H-D frontend can be modified to fit. A fellow from Slidell Louisiana named Bob did a swap-out some time ago. The fork stems have slightly different ODs, so he bushed the stem to fit. Can't recall if he used the Triumph stem with the H-D trees, or the H-D stem. BTW... since Katrina, Bob hasn't been heard from. Hope he's OK.
