If you don't mind sacrificing the pretentious label, Cabela's has an awesome deal on a really good Gore-Tex, insulated glove. $39.95 with a deerskin palm: Cabela's If the textile back isn't robust enough for you try their motorsport gloves: Cabela's2 I use the Pinnacle's when the weather is particularly bad...they're warm and dry.

Check out snowmobile gloves. They have long gauntlets and some have a visor wiper. Leather palms and Gortex etc.

The warmest winter gloves I've used were a pair of LL Beans
Goretex with Thinsulate insulation, but they weren't motorcycle gloves. I've got a pair of Tour Master PolarTex winter gloves and they have more of a gauntlet. The warmer they are, usually the more feel you sacrifice (although if your hands are freezing, feel really goes down). I've seriously considered the Gerbrings electric gloves.

Well I broke down and bought some Widder heated gloves. I'm getting my aux power outlet installed at my 500 mile servicing so I haven't tried the actual electric part yet but I can tell you that they are very warm even without the power. (50 miles around town on a 40 degree day).

I cant wait to plug em in. I'm thinking about a heated vest too.

I have the Widder electric vest and gloves, I've had decent gloves in the past, but nothing keeps me as warm as the electrics, the vest has a thermostat, I put it on about halfway, goes on and off, its nice, the gloves never get hot, just warm, its so nice, and you're right, they are even good, warm gloves when not plugged in

I have a pair of Cabela snowmobile mittens. They make it difficult to work the controls and are actually not as warm as the Lee Parks DeerSports motorcycle gloves that I wear all year.

A dozen years ago when I needed warm gloves for Yamaha 650 winter riding I went to Harley/Davidson in Reno & got some great(but pricey) gloves-gauntlet type-back over the sleeves. Didn't use for a lot of years but are still doing a great job for me now! FWIW

I prefer the black sheepskin gloves available from Boulder County Chopperz. If you need a pair contact Ridge. Joe
