La Grande Fuga

I wasn't sure if any of you guys have come across this sweet bike but I thought I'd share in case you haven't. It's giving me a ton of ideas for things that I'd like to incorporate on my McQueen once I take delivery....For one, I really like the handlebars...do any of y'all have an idea on what they might be? I think I'll upgrade to the tank badges as well...Do y'all have any ideas on things you might do?

Let me know what you think!

You bought a McQueen SE and you're going to change out parts? Value only holds if it remains in as produced condition. Seems you would have been better off converting a standard Bonnie.

What Bleach says is true, none the less, it's good to see that the bike will be customized and used rather than be a trophy.
As for the handle bars, I don't know what they are, but the handle bar sticky has a lot of info on bars. Take a look... You may find your answer there or you may find some thing you like better!

I dont see a real problem in changing out parts as long as you can return it back to its original condition. Trust me, I'm not going to spend this amount of money to chop the bike up...just make a few subtle changes to fit my taste and if I ever decide to sell her I can always return it back to stock condition....

Thanks for the tips Monks! She definitely won't be a trailer queen...I would like to think that if the King of Cool were still around he would probably doing some sort of customization to the bike. What's the fun in owning something if all you're going to do is lock it up and throw away the key...only to return 10 years later and try to make a profit. Not my style...

I saw this going around the weeb last year. Lots I like including the inspired use of drainpipe, but the hand shifter is not one and whilst the tyres look funky they'd shake my filling loose on the paved road. And if you fit a fake kick start then better keep it a secret.
For what it's worth my motorcycle is/was a 2002 T100 Centennial, built in March 2002 before the fire. In some folks mind it is worth more in stock configuration but I have the parts on the shelf if I want to put it back to stock. The only thing about modding limited edition 'bikes is that there may be somebody out there who wants one and would ride it every day just the way it is but missed out on getting one.

( p.s. Sorry I had to mention the kick start F*r*h*t*o )
