That's a fine looking bike, John.....
I love the look of the bars and I would have the same, but worry about my wrists on long rides. How do you find them to be?

Sweet ride! I also like the aggressive nature of those bars but am concerned about comfort!

Very nice. I've got tons of mods to mine and really need to replace the stock bars. The Ace bars look great, although maybe too low for me and my aging back.

I like it. The ace bars would give a clip on cafe feel without losing that nice stainless Triumph handlebar clamp.
I am peering into my crystal ball and I perhaps see some black LSL rearsets in your future. :-D

Nice work john. That's turning into a real mean machine. The Honda fender will look great, and some sort of single seat would sport it up even more.
to make it easier for the others...

Nice bike.........
Nice location, I ride there sometimes, on the way out west. Any good roads around town? I have only been on the main road and in town.

Thanks for all the positive comments about my bike, however i do feel that the audience is very bias, but who cares. At the moment I feel like a proud new dad with these first photos. Now to answer some of your questions:
swelebny Steve - initially i felt a little discomfort in the wrists this was overcome by twisting the right grip a bit harder, to open up the throttle to take the weight off.
TC88- as you can see from my pic I'm not a big bloke, 45yrs old 5'8" about 160lbs, i did a 2000km trip 6months back with no dramas. I set up my bars in a more forward position for that aggressive look, you could set them up with the hand grips flatter if needed
vol245-same as above,
chuck your a mind reader about those rear sets. While your at it, can you check your crystal ball for the reaction of my missus when she notes another withdrawl on the bank statment.
stinebiz- stole the fender idea off you, thanks again. Did you have to modify the indicators to screw into the fender. thanks again for making my pics more accessible.
binnsy-when riding up here come up through Gatton, Murphy's Creek. there are good country roads to Meringandan, Goombungee, Haden, Ravensbourne, Esk, Blackbutt, Cooyar Maidenwell etc.

Ozbon,
attaching the fender will require drilling a few new holes. I have my fender attaced with 3. two on the wide support brace of the bike running across closer towards the battery, and one in the center back towards the end of the bike. I used bushings and washers to make a secure fit. It's tight.
Of course, the bonnie stock fender is squared off for a perfect fit, and the Honda fender is rounded, so you'll have to adapt. But isn't that half the fun of customizing? Good luck.
