I know the topic of pipes has been addressed many times before, but I seldom see EPCO pipes mentioned. I have the staight cuts, which are not long, and I like the sound and performance of my bike now after changing the pipes, rejetting the carbs and removing the AI. So, to beat a dead horse black and blue, and then force it to drink 3 quarts of Mobil 1, how do these pipes compare to, say, D&D or others? :smug:

There's really only one way to find out..hook up with those hooligans who terrorize your area on Triumphs (there are many)and compare the look and sound. Then get a dyno reading and share with the rest of us.Glad the EPCOs are workin for ya!There are some here who won't use anything unless it comes from Brent or Mike...does epco make a set for std bonnies?

EPCO now has reverse-cones for standard bonnies. They are stainless steel and are pretty new for them. I taked with the owner a few days ago, and he says they will be in the longer-taper style cones. More like the MotoTwins. I recently asked about jetting, but haven't heard back, yet.
I have EPCOs on my Norton and really like the sound. I also like the styling better than the Thunderbikes, D&D & Predators that have the shorter reverse-cones, but that's a personal preference.
I did find EPCO very good to work with when I bought the Norton mufflers.

MOBRIT that's excellent..the more choices the better. I hope competition between companies brings lower prices..that's good for all of us no matter which pipes we choose.

I've delt with EPCO in the past and found them unbelievably difficult to deal with. When I was able to get a hold of them all I got was promises about next week. Many years ago I purchased a pair of stainless pipes and mufflers for an old BMW that were very nice, but later dealings with them just never panned out.
Be careful with these guys - maybe they've changed...

I have Epcos, love em. A year or so ago they said they would do a custom diameter as well as custom length. Then they had a fire.... then they procrastinated... finally I got just custom length, not diameter. All this was done thru Brent who was great! Good advocate for me. But I like the sound and performance! As compared to other pipes... I got to see a good cross section this fall, 20 TBA's in one place! Thunderbikes are a big louder, Scepters are WAY loud, but the Epcos are just a big more dubdued and more of a growl as opposed to a bark, ya know? Hope that helps.

I've got my short pipes which go about to the front end of the back sprocket. I kind of like that look, but I could have them longer now that I have saddle bags over them. Do they make an extender for those pipes? Thanks for the input. :???:
