I have an 06' t100 with off-road pipes and jets. My dealer failed to clean the pipes before runing the bike the first time and left fingerprint mrks on one of the pipes. Now after 700 miles one side is nice and blue and the other side is blotchy and only blue where the original oily fingerprints were! annoying right? the ai was removed at 4 miles. I love the blue and want both sides to match, any ideas other than replacing the air injection? The jetting is spot on and the carbs are synched perfectly.

Help!

Bill

Ride, and tell us what they look like at 12000 miles. :-D

The only way they will ever match now is to put blotchy fingerprints on the other one. :-D

Mine are in the exact same condition as yours (354 miles). From what I have been told they will probably continue to blue over time (even without the AI) and blend a little better.

The worst part for me is knowing that it's my @#$! fingerprint!!!

I have the same exact problem.
I'm at about 4500 Miles and the blotchiness seems to be less drastic then when I first got it.
I'm hoping it evens out.

So one side is only blue where the finger prints were? If thats the case the the pipes would be uneven regardless.
