Been looking at the new Ducati retro bikes lately. Really taken with the 06 Sport 1000 in burnt yellow. Cafe racer style-clip ons-bar end mirrors-95 hp-early 70s written all over it. Nice bike!! Thinking about selling 86 FXR to pay for it as I've gotten some nice offers on it over the last few months. In addition I'm going to be building the 67 Sportster bobber this winter that I described on previous posts. With my soon to be repaired T-100-it should be a pretty good looking stable by spring. Any thoughts on the Ducati? Joe :-D

That Sport 1000 is a sweet looking machine. What is the price tag on one of those bad boys?

Man, I've been lusting after that yellow sport 1000 since Ducati first announced it...

How about this image of me on my GT900S with my Disco hair...... Those were the days, loud Conti's, velocity stacks on a race bred Duc' that topped out at 170 mph, and all this before Duc's became a trendy Red.....

My local ducati dealer had a Paul Smart 1000 on display and it was unbelievably beautiful in person. The dealer had already sold their allotment of 8 Paul Smarts months ago.

Can't wait to see a Sport 1000 in person. I may not be able to resist the urge to add to my stable.

OHmyGOD was I INDEED happy on that machine!! Tracked like a locomotive, and exhaust noise nothing short of orgasmic.

With regard to the new Retro Duc's, I couldn't do clip-ons, but the factory cans look HELLA GOOD...... maybe drill 'em out or some'n.

They look sweet JUST the way they are!

Big problem is deciding which one, they're all cool.
Bigger problem might be availability, all the cool folk who know whas cool, want one.
Biggest problem would be money.... I ain't got it.
