Need feedback. Does it work with the side and center stands? Is it too loud for the neighbors? Any information and opinions appreciated.

When I first started lurking on this forum, the conventional wisdom was that Bubs(of any sort) were maniacly loud. Now they seem to be an acceptable option.Lately some have wished thier _ brand pipes weren't quite so loud...right down the line about the only pipes nobody says that about are TORs :-D SO.. is it too loud for the nieghbors?Probably..but Bubs on a Triumph couldn't possibly be as loud as some harleys I have heard in Encinitas :hammer: Go for it.But don't say I didnt warn ya!

I can't say I've heard them first hand, but from all my research on this forum, it seems like they're one of the loudest options out there, comparable to the D and D's.

I have Togas, and they are pretty thunderous. I set off car alarms everywhere I go! From my understanding the Bubs are a lot louder than that, just to give you some idea.

As for the other questions, I bet Bellacorse could help you; they've run bubs on some of their project bikes.

Yes, Bub's are loud. You could almost roll a golf ball through them.

When I first jumped on the bike with the Bub's I immediately bonded with the bike's engine in a way I never thought I would. The exhaust 'crackles' through them. It is a very, very distinct sound. If you were to run the bike along with a bunch of buddies on Harley's, you would want these pipes.

To a very large degree, the volume is controlled by your throttle hand. I would roll-off when passing pedestrians and horses. I would feel very uncomfortable with these pipes sitting in traffic next to open car windows, or passing cars on four lane roads, both don't happen very often around here.

Center and side stands will work.

I finally ended up with drilled stock pipes.

Steve.

Having heard both the D&Ds and the Bubs-the bubs are louder-by a hair. My recently crashed T-100 has D&Ds, which due to damage to the right side pipe are going to be replaced with TORs. I don't care for the open megaphone look of the bubs. Joe
