I like the design on both of them, but I've only heard the Predators.
Anyone heard both? Which are loudest, have the coolest sound?
The SS are more expensive but are less hassle for me to get because of customs.

I have not heard both but will vouch for the Predators which I love. I have some pics on my web site and on the member's album submission area www.triumphrat.net/modules.php?set_albumName=album843&op=modload&name =Photo_Album&file=index&include=view_album.php&pag e=23
It seesm to me the Mototwins are kind of a unique look with the long tapered cone to a smaller opening vs. the bigger cone openings and more abrupt taper of the British Customs and the D&D cones. But alas I have not heard them. We need to get that pipes sound library idea off the ground.
If you get the British Customs cones, make sure you get their airbox to go with it. I got a 20% power and force jump.

Chuck is right about the taper of the cones. That's just an individual preference, with the Mototwin being a bit longer and it also looks a bit smaller in diameter. The Motos are stainless, and I'm not sure about the Predators.
I haven't heard either, but I generally would prefer a stainless muffler, all other things being equal. I doubt that audio samples will help much because of the generally poor fidelity of most CP systems and the recording systems used in the samples. Can't compare apples to apples, as it were.
I'd like to follow this, as I am considering the MotoTwins for my scooter.

Hey, it's only an opinion.... right?
Get the SS's!!!!!
Predators have a deep, sexy, and soul stirring sound,
- but -
I love the visuals of the SS's, the Stainless Steel, the long cone, the subtle up-swept angle, and the very, Very classy sound coming outa them. There are too many 50 year olds out there who still dig the obnoxious nature of loud pipes (like me). You owe it to your neighbors and mine to run something that sounds good..... not just loud. (It's MY job around here to annoy the neighbors........)

I've got a set of the Mototwin SS ordered, should be in Mon. or Tues. I can't wait. Had a set of D&D's (now for sale) on but were too loud for me. Will let you know how they work.

I heard a set of British Customs on an 05 T100 with airbox removed and paper elements installed on the carbs. The sound was very deep, dramatic and on the loud side. Not at all 'faint' or 'small' sounding and very like the sound of a 60's Bonnie with straight megaphones. If you want to be heard, these will do it. Too bad there's no place to go where you can hear several on the same bike

I have the Predators on my Thrux and really like them - but they are loud. The Predators are stainless steel and well made. I rode with Racedweeb for several days in the NC and GA mountains with his bike having the mototwin SS silencers. They also sound very good - and I would say not quite as loud as the predators. They looked very good too more of a "classic" look to them, were as the predators with their huge opening in the rear look much more agressive. JCW
