Jeffrey, your post made me so sad that I'm not even going to make one of those smartass SoCal comments about how it was 75 today. Just have a nice winter, it'll be Spring before you know it.

I also felt so sad for you that I just had to take out the Speedy and ride down to the beach to see all the brown tanned bodies lying all over the place. Sigh …… how am I going to handle it :knkknk:

Hey Jeffry, Sorry about your weather---probably going to be on here even more now, I would be---
Just noticed your list of rides-Nice! You're obviously into Black! Me too-kinda, my wifes car is black parked next to my Black Bonnie. Had lots of black rides, automotive I mean!
I don't think I'll be covering my bike--I like looking at it tooo much! Like Dazco, I'm looking back at it while walking away even!
Hang in there, spring is coming!

Hey Jeffrey,
I'm awfully sorry you had to put your bike up for the season, but if it's any consolation, I've been to Nova Scotia several times, all around, and it's one of the most beautiful places I've seen, the people are great, and the seafood is to die for. Maybe seven months of riding in such a beautiful place is better than ten or twelve in a location that's not so great?

Jeffrey, sorry to hear your grounded for a few months. Although it isn't as far north as you.. thank you for the reminder of why I departed Northeast Ohio for a more temperate climate.
Badrufus, I have spent some time around the Tri-Cities, the area you live in can hold it's own for great scenery. I've gone hours out of my way in order to take US23 from Ohio down through JC, TN and cut across Hwy321 back toward Charlotte. Some beautiful country over there that not many people know about

Look at the bright side.....your bike will have less miles on it. may not seem like much consolation, but some put 20-30k a year. Yours will stay new much longer. Personally i look at it from the point of view that absence makes the heart grow fonder, IE: when you CAN ride it'll be that much sweeter. I've always felt that things that are this good should be sipped, not gulped.
