I was just reading a post on gloves and I noticed nobody mentioned electric gloves. I know there are two different kinds, one that plugs into your motorcycle battery and the ones that have there own battery pack.

I have electric socks that I where hunting which alow me to wear a lighter more flexable boot and still keep my feet warm.

Anybody have any experience with electric gloves?

Thanks, Rick................................

I was wondering at what temp. do you ride with the Gerbing's.
I live in the NYC area and ride 80 miles a day. The temps. are going down and I am looking for a glove that can keep my hads warm in below freezing temps and at 85mph.
What about heavy rains? Do they keep your hand dry as well as warm?

Have you used Gerbing's in those type of conditions?

Hey real black bonnie. If you go to www.cozywinters.com they have zanier heat-gx-heated ski gloves that might fit your application better.

You are really hard-core if you ride that hard, in that cold and for that long.

RealBlackBonnie, I have used them in cold weather in the high 20s. Had them in the rain a few times and my hands staid dry.

They want $250 for those gloves. The Gerbings are a steal compared to those.

Widder has a set of electric gloves for 89.00 plus around 32.00 for the battery hookup + cable from the hookup to the gloves. I have never used them but my salesman uses them and swears by them.

I use the Widders and love 'em. Temps in the 20 and hands feel toasty. Use 'em with the vest which is makes the gloves even more comfortable as the wires go up the sleeves and attach to the vest.

Very glad I spent the $ for it.
