Anyone know of any places in the area that has a decent selection of various hardware in chrome metric?

I would try looking up Fasteners in the Yellow Pages Dazco. Then give them a call to see what their selection is. I'm sure they will have some Stainless steel pieces and you can polish them real nice.

The only other thing I can find is hardware. Sorry Dazco. You might try a motorcycle or auto parts store and ask the parts counter what they have in the size you want.

Thanks for the help Bryan. Appreciate it. Theres a few at a hardware store near me. I don't recall there being many if any that i could use, but i'm gonna check em out again because i wasn't looking for anything in perticular when i saw them. i think these bikes really could use some dress up in this area. If you look closely you notice there are tons of cr*ppy looking steel nuts and bolt that have that golish corroded sorta look to them. i think that really takes away from the overall appearence. Might not be a bad idea to get a chroming setup and sell chrome nuts and bolts for bikes ! i know i'd buy probably a couple hundred bucks worth !

Yes, thank you for the link Brent. Dazco If you have a bench grinder, you can buy a polishing wheel for it and a stainless steel polishing stick {compound}. I buy mine at a local trucking supply but you can buy it at a hardware store. Stainless is easier to obtain sometimes and it polishes up in seconds. The tinsel strength is a little to much for some applications as steel bolts stretch more with vibration but for dress up kind of stuff it works just fine. You would need different wheels for different compounds such as for aluminum.
