Tobyth you could break a hundred if you lost the flip flops :-D Top speed for me on the freeway 110 indicated and climbing .I backed off because I was cresting a hill.Top speed on a 2 lane 105 in the Anza Borrego desert. What happens when you hit the rev limiter? Does it just flatten out or does it hiccup>Cause any handling problems?I need to know :lgh:

I've hit 105 or a bit more and felt i could have gone further, but i never looked at the tack to see how far i had to redline. felt i could have gone another 10 MPH if i wanted to push it but about that time i felt like it would be smarter to back off. Also on the speedo accuracy thing...i don't know how accurate mine is. I'm kind of confused because i clocked myself at 52 one day with one of those side of the road speed indicators and my speedo read exactly that speed. Then the other day i found another one on a different street and made a few passes at around 45 on the speedo and the indicator read 4 MPH less ! So at this point i don't know what to think. The faster i go the more accurate ?! Who knows.

Got to 105mph (170kph) before I had to back off due to my head bouncing on the tank. I need to find a better road or tweak the suspension to feel confident to wind it out more. It felt to have a bit go but seeing as I had already left the HD in my wake didn't feel the need to push it.

HD rider stunned as I went past with my feet on the pillion pegs and laid on the tank.....good for a laugh ?

:-D

2005 BonnieBlack w/18 tooth sprocket, D&D's, k&N, and jetted.

She gets up to 100 mph rather easily, but hits the rev' limiter in 4th and needs to be shifted into 5th. In 5th, she'll creep to 105 mph if given road long enough.

This weekend I was carrying MY 250 lb. phatass, and 35 pounds worth of Hepco Becker hard bags. Downhill, she crawled to 107 mph but I ran out of road to continue on at that speed.

Therefore, I will say my 18 tooth sprocket allows me to get up to an easy (indicated) 105 mph. By the way, I think this may be the MOST accurate speedo I've had yet!

109 on a flat open road. Haven't seen that speed since last year. She was WFO but wouldn't go any faster . She still had life shortened by some kind of limiter.

Took my Speedy up to 185 Km/h that would be around 115 M/h it seemed that it could go even further but I have never really felt good about high speed so I throttled back down to my normal 120Km/h (75 M/h).
