All Triumphs to be triples for 2015

A spokesman from Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, Hinckley, Leicestershire, UK, said today that starting with the 2015 model-year, the entire line of Triumph motorcycles will have 3 cylinder engines.

Concerns about the popular retro-themed Bonneville line, which uses 2 cylinders were put to rest by spokesman Nigel Kent with the following explanation:

"We shall continue our Bonneville line but we will disguise the 3rd cylinder - hide it, if you will. We can now finally say we are serious about the 'Tri' in 'Triumph' ", Mr. Kent said. Kent went on to say that the new twins "will be called 'Twipples' ".

No mention was made as to where the 3rd cylinder would be hidden or disguised.

Maybe they'll put it under the new hinged seat. *fingers crossed*

I was thinking maybe in the "carburetors" but they're already full of some other stuff.

You mean the carbs on the new bikes aren't real?

Oh, wait, April Fools! Good one, Ruger.
