Anyone know where to get a helmet in the style of the one on www.bellacorse.com 's opening page? The old school looking helmet with the goggles on it...
Thanks
Kan

Just a bit of advice. Whatever you do, find a place you can try it on. Then buy online if you want. But even that isn't a sure thing. I recently went thru a ton of helmets locally and found the sizes varied hugely. in fact, i tried a bunch on and found some variations like a large fitting tighter than the same helmet in a medium ! Then theres the different brands and thier sizes being much different. if you have to send it back you'll have to pay shipping at least one way if not 2, and thats not counting the original; shipping charges.

Daz, you are correct. One should absolutley try the helmet on in person. However, Manyunk is near Philadelphia

You are correct, Manayunk is very close to Philly and in fact I live right up the street from the store, but the last time I was in it looked like they only had the full helmets by HJC, ARAI, and Bell. Not to mention that the store hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 6pm. It only leaves me Saturdays to get in and I've got so much to do... ahh I'm just making excuses now, I'll try to get in on Saturday see what they have.
Thanks for the suggestion of trying the helmet on first, not a bad idea.

Go to this web site: http://www.davida.co.uk/
There might be other stores close to you.

"Whatever you do, find a place you can try it on. Then buy online if you want."
Minor thread hijack...If I go to a store and try on clothes or helmets, I always make sure to go back there to buy them when I've decided, rather than the internet. After all, they're paying rent, light bills and employees just so I have a place to try things on. I don't think it's fair not to give them the sale that they actually made possible. We may save a few bucks on the internet, but we won't like it when all the gear stores disappear. Books, tankbags, stuff you don't need to see in person, then the internet is great. Just my $ .02 .

Well said!!! Plus usually after you pay shipping over the net and waiting time, it evens out the cost anyway.
