Been wanting to get that lower yoke chrome cover, but $90 is a pretty steep price for what seems to be a piece of chromed sheet metal. So i figured i'd look for a deal. But neither by searching ebay or google can i find it under the $90 list price. Does Triumph have some sort of deal with the retailers where they cannot discount on accessories?

Also, anyone have one of these, and if so am i correct in assuming they only cover the edge of the yoke and not the top or bottom? Thats another thing about Triumph accessories........they tell you next to nothing about them in thier description. Is it SOOOOO hard to write a tiny 2 or 3 sentance description for gods sake ?!! lright, i'm calming down now. :asb:

daz, I bought my bike locally, here in LA(Simi) and the dealer gives me 15% off anything I buy there, if that helps. Your dealer should at least do that much....?

Come to think of it they may have said something about 10%. But then i'd pay sales tax which i wouldn't have to do online buying out of state. So 10% would end up being 2%.

Check with Newbonnieville.com. He has used and takeoff parts for sale, several of which are genuine Triumph items. Joe

I wonder if that 10% is good at any authorized triumph dealer? If so i could at least get 10% online. I just ordered needles from palm beach triumph. Maybe i should find out if they do 10% for rat members and add this to my order. Or maybe you have to buy in person so they can swipe your RAT card?

Daz, try Hermy's, here: http://www.motorcyclestore.us/triumph/

If you don't see what you want, give them a call with the part number. They discount everything.

Daz, I'm curious. Do you normally ride around with a yarmulke under your helmet? Joe :-D :-D

I'm curious, is this a joke of some sort, based on the legitimate discussion of discounts?

If so, it must be in the poorest taste I've yet seen on this message board.

If not, please explain the gist of the question, as the humor escapes me.
