want to have stripes painted on my fenders. just simple old school stripes that are 5/8" wide with 1/8" pinstripe . my bike is lucifer orange . i was thinking orange 5/8" stripe with gold or black pinstripe, or black 5/8" stripe with orange pinstripe. any thoughts

I'm about to do the same with mine, only I'm going to use the width of the scallop from the tank on the fenders(prob 1 1/2" or so). If memory serves me correctly, the old '60s Bonnies were like that. If memory doesn't serve me correctly, I'll probably still do it...

My point is "go for it" It'll look awesome

What about orange fenders with a silver stripe? The fenders would match the tank.

This is what I did. I think an orange stripe would look good on yours. Always loved that lucifer orange.

innominate, how wide is the stripe on your front fender. did they have to repaint whole fender or just the stripes. looks great !

It's the front fender from the scrambler, with the raised ridge. The orange is painted on the ridge. I can measure it if you want to know the width. I bought the shorter fenders and had them painted to match my bike and boxed up the stock fenders.

I have a 2008 Scrambler. It is a stock paint job with the silver and tangerine on the tank. The Scrambler has a raised ridge on the front fender. I brought mine to an auto and bike painter. The colors were a little hard to match because Triumph doesnt stock them here, I was told. But with computer technology, things worked out fine. He found the color matches and did the raised ridge to match then tank scheme. Fender photos are in a previous thread and can be seen here:
