We should find a McQueen-type event next summer and do an SMQ ride-in. See how many we can get to show up.

There were three SMQ Bonnies at the Barber Vintage Fest. The one the museum owns (1014), one Triumph USA has (33 I think) and one I saw in passing.

Is anyone else finding visibility an issue? Not sure if it is the small headlamp, or the matte green paint, but I have never had as many people pull U-Turns in front of me, or attempt to merge over me, than I have on my SMQ. I had one of each happen to me today!

I'm buying hi-vis everything ASAP.

Any thoughts?

My wife followed me on a long trip, she said I looked like a black speck the further i got away. I am going with a high-vis helmet. Shoei has a cool matte black helmet with high-vis yellow stripping.

I"m first to admit to throwing in the towel, on the riding season. With travel and work, #537 is hibernating, and patiently waiting for next year's riding season. aaaargh!, I traveled 3000 km of some of the best riding ever, on this bike, I think I"m gonna like it>

I've been looking for a decent saddle bag that I thought would look right (retro) on the Triumph. I found this saddle bag at Fox Creek Leather http://www.foxcreekleather.com/284-l...ress-saddlebag
They are not cheap, but very good quality. I'll be installing this in the Spring.

Covered up for the Winter......

Wow that color looks great! I'm still waiting on mine, should be here possibly tomorrow. I went with leatherworks. You are making me wish I would have gone with the brown
