Further to the visit to the Triumph factory by Mr. Walrus and sons. There is a rumour going round that they want to buy the factory. Mr. Walrus was seen sneaking out of the office with lots of drawings of the new, long raked Chop-Onnievile and Chop-Ona sports bike under his arm.

Paul Walrus was overheard on his cell phone making a trans-atlantic call. He was talking to Ricky Petko and asked him if he could straighten out the sharp angles on the Daytona 675 with his hammer.

Watch this space for more gossip.

Next week. How Mr. Walrus drove through the dining room of Triumph mogul John Bloor in his s.u.v.

Let's hope not.

The last thing we need is a Bonneville with a 1900cc S&S engine, a hard tail and flames...

I'm calling

Apparently, Rick was seen welding a prototype tank resembling the Buddha's Hand citron. It took him all week...of course.

Don’t think this will happen, what would the cost of such a venture cost I wonder? I know they must be pulling in the $$$$ but that’s will be a lot of $$$$ to pull this off.

BUT then imagine the great triumphs we will see. I mean I Speedmaster with dragons or maybe even the odd power wrench as a part of its make-up. Each one would have to be totally different to the last I mean they could never manufacture any two the same. The prices might go up some and it will defiantly take longer to manufacture between Paul and Paul temper tantrums. WOW it should make for good TV.

Glad to hear it. The miss-management of Triumph is an abysmal situation.

Afterall, the Paul Smith concepts should have been greenlighted for mass production.

The actual reason that Paul and his entourage were at the Triumph plant was to apply for jobs. Paul wanted the job as public relations director and the other gumbas were seeking employment as machinists, fabricators, painters, etc. After a series of tests were administered they were offered jobs as rest room attendants. One of the stipulations for employment was that they had to shave, bathe, and change into clean presentable clothing. Once they refused to comply with this request, the interview was terminated and they were escorted out of the factory under the auspice of a tour. Joe :-D

I had a Fu in college, 30 years ago. It was awful then and would be worse now. And, oops, I actually went to college, so if OCC buys Triumph, do I get booted out of the club?
Why don't they pick on someone their own size; wait, there is no one their own size- World Sumo Organization?
