what's the average age of people who don't really care about the average age of people who ride any kind of Triumphs :???: If you're old enough to ride, ride till you too old to ride

I think from my side it was not really the age that mattered but the type of bike younger people are more drawn to. I remember when I was around 23 I had a Bonnie and it was quite a surprise to most that such a young person was drawn towards this style of riding as most bikers my age where into the speed thing and not the low down raw power. This was my first encounter with a British bike and from there I changed to the Jap range. I never however found any Jap bike I had that could compare with the Bonnie for handling, feel and just overall style. It’s only now that I have progressed back to British getting the Speedmaster, now I realized what I was missing with my other bikes.

yup, I'm young and plan to ride the classics forever. It just doesn't matter. Kinda like this post doesn't matter either. :-D

This thread has found me coming up with a brand spankin' new 3 letter acronym. STP no longer means that honey thick goo some put in thier crankcase. It now stands for "stir the pot". And i think it can be safely assumed this is indeed an STP thread. :-D
