anyone seen my freakin seat bolt - you would think it would stay put . i dont mind the money getting a new but not a big fan of waiting for it to arrive and my dealer is many miles away. grrrrrrr :evil:

Look out in burnside or the Byhi ohhh call Bruce he will run one up to you ....Ps were you on the southshore run

I lost one of the tool free bolts not to long ago....sad because they are $20 sold in pairs....I only need one.

actually i think it is on the bedford highway and i am expecting a phone call on my answering machine from bruce when i get home. and as for touring - no missed the ride but i am planning to join up next year. i work sundays and so my saturday are usually fully booked.

why dont you have your dealer mail it to you. I know your mail in Canada sucks but it would still save you the long ride

Might be a good idea to put a safety wire loop on the bolts so when they come out they will still be attached to the bike. This item comes up quite often.-T1

Just lost 1 of mine. It seems the lock washers are not reliable. If you crank too tight you'll need a pair of pliars to loosen, and that ruins the benefit of the replacements.

The solution is to check them before each ride - including after a stop while on a ride.

It takes 10' and costs peanuts, and material is available in any good DIY shop
