Here's mine, fitted with the stock indicators, chopped down and mounted on cheap Home Depot corner brackets:

Got mine in today! Maund / canyon racer is on it with the shipping. Only took 3 days USPS to get to me. Fortunate for me i live in SoCal.

Could not wait to put it on. Took the original fender off, got the FEK mounted, but still have to do the wiring and mount the signal lights to the shocks.

I knew from what everyone said that it is quality and it is . To my surprise it was supper thick, sturdy, cast aluminum...and if I didn't make it clear, that is a good thing. Left all A++ on ebay.

Tomorrow morning I may just chop the wire harness of my original tail peace, use a little solder and shrink tubing to do the job right.

-Adrian

FYI: If it helps anyone, i am sure everyone is much quicker, savvy, and smarter when it comes to these things than me, but if it saves a little time/guess work ...

I used the kits allen bolts ( longer than original) on the actual FEK, with red loctite, and with the bigger of the nuts supplied. the new mud guard sandwiches the FEK kit to the frame using the previously mentioned bolts and nuts. I used the orignal star bolts, with loctite, near the wire harness, mid seat/frame, to hold the other side of the mud guard with the new, smaller of the kit's, nuts to fasten the mud guard. use the smallest bolts to fasten the license plate to FEK ( FEK license holes are threaded, no nut is needed)

... for what it is worth, hope it helps someone.

Just received and hooked mine up today. Got it in black, I have other indicators coming that I'm going to use, not sure where I'm going to mount them yet. This is a really nice piece of kit, very well made. Amazing how quick it got here to NY. Taking more than twice as long to receive some bits coming from NJ. Cheers!

PS the wiring info here on an earlier post helped save some time-wouldn't be a bad thing to include with the kit if it's universal

A wiring kit would be a nice option for the turn indicators. I happened to have the right connectors laying around for the rear, but had to order just the ends for the front. Everywhere I looked was out of the actual $25 harnesses. That's ok though, I kinda enjoy making my own...

I have the mound kit installed on my Thruxton with the rear cowl. Fit is no problem.

Has anyone installed any type of LED bulb or strip into the tail light that comes with the FEK kit? I have not been able to find one.

I don't have the FEK kit or have used a LED bulb, but I do have the kit for fender mount and use this LED kit. http://matchlessclueless.com/store/l...s-564-led-12v/

Easy to mount. Just got back from a trip, rode in dark and in the rain. Friend riding with me said it was very visible in both conditions.
