FYI, I have been gone for a while and after reading the Approval thread I started I decided that it was way off from my initial question and served no real purpose. I was never meant to be shot at anybody much less Harley riders who I have no qualms about one way or another. I would really like to have this forum about Triumphs and the good things that go along with them.

I wish you had left the original post, too. I didn't see any Harley bashing in it, and I don't know where some of the H-D crusaders came up with that notion. It looks to me like at least one of them signed up for membership at this site just to weigh in on the matter, because he doesn't even own any Triumphs.

None the less, and even though I didn't agree with your premise that Triumph owners are seeking "approval" from Harley owners in our interactions with them, I thought it was an interesting post and a worthwhile topic to discuss. Don't let 'em get you down.
