How did you you get on with the silencer mounting?
I needed to make an offset bolt to make it all fit.

V.
I actually loosend both right hand frame bolts and removed the bottom one so i could move the double bolt bracket upwards. I then used the supplied Zard Allen bolt and lock nut to secure the silencer. I tightened everything down and all seems good. I had to remove the footpeg hanger as it was all a bit tight in there, but everything lined up pretty well. Make sense?

Anyone know about the 2 into 1 Zard high exhaust? I've been so tempted to stick that on my 06 Scrambler. I tried to look into the forum a little but wondered if you guys decided to go with the low exhaust for a reason. I think that the Scrambler has a great look with the high pipes and I am hesitant to go away from that. Thoughts? If you can point me to another post on here that compares them that would be great.

Thanks,
Toby

Congrats on your new pipe!

I am hoping to pick one up soon. Does the zard cross come with the EFI map data, or does it reuse the arrow 2-1?

I want one of those so bad. But the Zard site only has them listed for Scrammies. Any idea if there's something about it that would make it impossible to mount on a T-100? Seems to me it's the same frame and the footpegs are slightly higher. I e-mailed Zard a while back, but no reply.

Congratulations! For me that's by far one of the best-looking after-market exhausts out there, and I think it looks fantastic on the Scram.

When you say the sound is unbelievable with the baffle in, do you mean loud (how loud?) or that the "quality" of the sound puts a smile on your face?

It will be interesting to see a comparison with the forth coming
british customs 2-into-1 low pipe.

I'm actually getting the BC one but I do think the Zard headers are nicer, not loving the bend in the BC ones, but who cares, I heard the sound of them and they don't have that dirt bike sound of the Zard, much more of a growl. Heard them both and love the sound of the BC much much much better. we'll see about the perfomance

I've heard predators in person and they definitely had a nice deep growl, so I am assuming BC would go for similar acoustics with these. The BC pipes look longer with those headers so I imagine they would have at least the same performance as the zard cross.

I am personally leaning to the zard cross though, I do like the look of them a lot more, and I don't mind a more dirt bike sound.
