I'm ready for your slings and arrows!
I'm gonna turn my 67 Lightning into a rat rod cafe racer......
Stock frame, stock or rear sets(haven't decided),flat black tank, bobbed fenders, white walls on red powder coated rims,TT wrapped pipes......what do you guys think?

I can see Rat Rod or Cafe Racer, but mixing the two together is kind of a bad LSD trip.JMHO Al

I can see it being very cool bobbed, but not sure how the cafe racer would fit in. Can you mock it up on photoshop and post the idea so we can see?

ABSOLUTELY!
I can't get behind the Red wheels, but that's me.......
I say GO FOR IT; I dig that one Bella Corsa has pictured on their site!

I actually just saw a vintage Triumph the other day that was a sort of cafe bobber. It had the rear shocks replaced with bar stock to turn it into a hardtail (which was the only thing about it I thought was stupid), bobbed rear fender, single seat, clubman handlebars, short open pipes. Cool bike.
Your plan for the Lightning sounds like it could end up looking pretty good. Post some pics when you've done it.

Why does that photoshop bring to mind the song "Sex on Wheels," by Gravity Kills?
