A member wrote me asking about a replacement tank because he dented his. I offered him this advise that I'll share with you:

Fill the tank all the way with water and freeze it. The expanding ice water -should- pop the dent out. Be careful not to leave it in the freezer too long otherwise it may over-expand and end up looking like a weird watermelon. If the dent has a sharp crease and/or edges, this trick most likely will not work.

Also, if you're married, risk of divorce is imminent.<g>

Hmmm..note to self. Ask Mike more than just parts questions. Now, if I can just find a freezer big enough. Your mom can't divorce you, can she?

Nah, but she can begin to lament her lack of living offspring...

Four gallons of Guiness - that'd be kind of expensive.

C'mon guys where's your courage????

Get that tank filled right to the neck with the highest octane fuel you can find then get a few friends with blow torches to start heatin' her up. A couple seconds of that will pop the dent out faster than you can say "Call 911!!!!".

Careful about scorching the paint, that would be bad....
