Wife says she needs a sissybar on the back. I don't want to spend $275 for the Triumph bar. Anyone using something else that looks good and cost less?

Friend of mine went to our local bike swap meet this weekend and purchased an old sissy bar from the 70s. Three feet tall with an iron cross on the top. He did a little plumbing and installed it on the back of his 04 Bonnie. Now his old lady can lean back and enjoy the scenery without worrying about falling off. Total cost?-50 bucks!!!! Start checking out swap meets. Joe :-D

That's because sissy bars are considered passe'. Most people prefer the grab rail on the Bonnie. Joe :-D

I've used the Ventura system on several bikes including my T100 and it works very well for carrying stuff. There's no provision for a backrest, however

Saw this one on Mototwin.com, I don't know anything about it, but they have a good reputation. I think to change from pounds to dollars its about double, so maybe $110-$125 or so plus shipping? I'm not sure.

Mototwin backrest

Remember the old king and queen seats from the 70's with the built on backrest? Joe :-D
