Everyone here seems to change their jets more often than their underwear. I'm assuming one has to check carb sync after each change?

Si o no?

I've been doing that because it's changed every time i changed anything. Not a lot tho, but enough to make it sound and feel a little bit smoother. It's a 2 min job tho so no big thang.

I figured it was a good idea to know what's going on...just ordered me a TwinMax.

Everytime I'm faced with something new to do on the bike, I say to myself, "oh man, I can't do that!" then I do it anyway and find it was easier than I thought it would be.

I don't balance my carbs after jet changes. I believe it takes more than changing jets to get them out of sync. I have changed main jets two or three times in one day when I was experimenting trying to get to a too rich condition to select the proper size. Since I have the tool (Carbtune II), I try to use it every 6 months or so--I have found very little adjustment is needed and I probably didn't need to balance them the last time I did the balance.

I just do it because as i've seen it CAN happen, tho you're right Larry in that it's not much or all all. But since i've seen it change a couple times at least, not doing it will always have me wondering. just peace of mind.
