Are you able to be more specific in detailing what the problem is with your Ebay dealings?
I have bid for and won several items, both for the Bonnie and other bit and pieces, and have not yet encountered any major problems - but I do hold my breath waiting for the inevitable shonky transaction to occur.

The feature on this site only allows us to see what Ebay has to offer in triumph parts. I think it is handy to have. Your problem is with ebay or the seller. E bay and pay pal do have a problem resolution process. Please don't shoot the messenger.-T1

I buy and sell on eBay without problems. When I win the bid I usually pay immediately with PayPal, but that is not necessary. You will get an invoice from the seller via eBay and then pay through the links. You haven't mentioned getting an invoice nor have you mentioned payment. If you do not receive an invoice, something is amiss and the deal will go away.

By the way, I usually either buy through "Buy it Now" or wait until the last couple of minutes to place my first and only bid. I decide how much I'm willing to pay and enter that amount. Usually win the last minute bid at less than the maximum I entered.

Will be real interested to see what happens.

I would agree with Gale - have bought and sold several bits on ebay without problem using Paypal for payment and usually bidding in the last few minutes having decided how much I want to pay

I do get a fair amount of spoof email supposedly from ebay or Paypal looking for account numbers etc. BE CAREFUL these look totally genuine and are all fake.

Good luck

Well e-bay did it again to me .Bid on an item that was posted on this site thinking that it should be alright since we are all in the triumph family and guess what got screwed again dealing with them. I hope someone reading this post that has some pull on this site can have that e-bay thing taken off the site features menu so no other people get it like me.   . Mikey
its funny all my other bidders were OK about this, they took the time to read the e mails from ebay explaining the problem

it looks like you a just upset you didn't win the item for $90.00 you know and all the readers know that would of been cheep for a Bonny wind shield brad-new still in the box if you had taken the time to read e mails or call things would be OK or are you still trying to get the screen through ebay and make me sell it to you because you still think you are the winning bidder (read ebay e mails)

ebay item 4577855829 check it out

if you wish i can cancal your latest bid because the item will still sell with or without you

Have e-mailed Brit. I think it's been a miscommunication. We are trying to straiten this out between ourselfs. Mikey
Then why are you getting the rest of us involved? We all know what ebay is and does. Bidding is part of the game.
Thanks to ebay, I have found some of the rarest things!

Wait, I am just as much part of this site as you. This is a "personal message" matter, that's all I'm saying.

Having bought several hundred items through e-bay over the past several years I can say that 90% of the stuff I got was as described and the rest was *****. I only pay with paypal and when I list an item I only accept paypal for payment. I don't bid on any item outside of the US and I won't sell to a bidder outside of the US. These policies have made my experience within the bounds of reason. Never get into an argument with an arschlos because bystanders won't be able to tell you apart. Just some of my friendly advice. Joe :-D

There is always the random wierdness on eBay. Rare...but does occur. It just goes with the 'online' territory. Same goes for Triumph related stuff. As always, buyer beware.
