Any one planning on attending the Sreet Vibrations event this weekend(starts Wed) in Reno? Massive bike event-mostly Harleys & custom V Twins but I have seen other bikes there.
Don't know if Freedom Cycle(Triumph Dealer) is going to have a display?

I am probably going to wait till next year when I get some louder exhaust pipes. I don't think I am going to be vibrating anything with my stock "Singer" 865 and I don't want to wind up the laughing stock of Reno.

Just kidding. I have to do some wrenching on my old Porsche to get it sold and out of my driveway before the snow flies.

Maybe next September I will get down there.

I've been up on the Harley XL1200'S', in the rain on 88........
(prior to this ride I thought leather chaps were gaye, that was the first thing I bought after standing in a warm shower for an hour in an attempt to warm up. With Kevlar lined jeans and chaps, you can go anywhere anytime!)

I went up on the Beemer R1150R, in the heat via 80 and spooked a LOUDass Victory after he buzzed me.
(Jeez, there was a lot of accidents up there that year!)

And I've managed to make it to the H.A. sponsored "Cathouse Run" a couple times.
(To appreciate the work of the Lord, you understand....)

THIS year, I wanna take my BonnieBlack with it's new Hagon shocks & springs, recently Gold pinstriped fenders, and freshly painted (w/automotive clear) Omar's Bikini fairing on a run up Hwy 36, "The Ultimate Ride" as per Pashnit.

I fear my loud D&D's may make them thar weekend wannabe bikers (D.I.B.s ((Dentists in Black)) & L.I.L ((Lawyers in Leather)) quake when I ride by them on the little 790........
:-D

Does anyone know the schedule of events for Sunday? Maybe I could zip down there Sunday morning.

I guess if I wanted to fit in with the LILs and DIBs I could trailer my Bonnie in from Incline Village :-D .

I come up to the Reno Air Races every year and Street Vibrations is always the week after. I sure enjoyed the ride over on Hwy 4 and Hwy 120 then parking my bike near the front gate. A lot of really nice people kept coming up to me so they could ask about the bike and there's nothing like watching those old war birds battle it out at close to 500 miles an hour or more. I wish I had more spare time to do both. Have a great time!
