If you are going to the N.E.C. this year why not drop by the Triumph stand. Why not praise them for the great bikes they are making and why not tell them what a marketing mess they have made with the Lady-Boy, Paul Smith aberration.

I'm going to ask them what process they use to consult with their customers. Surely any business worth its salt would want to know what the punters views are - wouldn't they?

I'm also going to ask them why they don't send out their so called 'magazine' for free. Honda does.

Triumph, leanr from Toyota - listen and talk.

Agree 100% - I can't see anyone buying the Paul Smith versions they are truly hideous IMHO. However I see in the press that HP sauce have also done a deal with Paul Smith and are selling bottles of sauce with the stripey pattern on..... what next!!!

I don't like the paul smith bikes at all. What a f****** mess! However, let's not get carried away. They are not production models. They are one off and limited collectibles for queer art freaks to hang up on their walls.

Oops did I say queer?

Bograt. Just let's hope they don't cheapen the name of a world famous icon. It''s when they get to the nancy-fancy design stage that you know they ae running out of ideas.

If they have one at the N.E.C. I'm gonna pour a chicken vinadaloo or madras curry over it and see if they notice.

Other Motorcycle: Don't need another one!
I saw one of the ones with the yellow seat (the "Live Fast") at the factory a few weeks back. It was hideous. For some reason they kept it covered up apart from the few minutes it took to show it to us..... I can't see anyone buying one to actually ride - your mates would pi$$ themselves laughing - unless they were all friends of Dorothy.

A good point PAAS. I'd not thought of that. I can just imagine the laughter if you turned up at Devil's Bridge. The Ponderosa or Matlock Bath.

He-he-he.
