Got a contemporary seat on the way for my new Bonnie... wanna put a black seat cowl on it... I've found every color except black? Anyone know where to get one?

Triumphant were not particularly helpful (bad day?). There a couple of issues, the Thruxton version in black is a different black to the Sixty8 Cowl which has now been discontinued in the UK I believe.

For expediency other than eBay try here http://www.pjglassfibre.com/. They always have their non OEM version and colour match.

Airtech makes a white one that you can paint and drill.

The Thruxton black is just black same as the 68 version was. There isn't a different black until 2011 where the new Thruxton is metallic black. Some of the Thruxton cowls may have a pinstripe on it or checkers.

It's only black. Go get a good quality spray can and give it a spray. I use Duplicolor paint and it is very good.

I was able to get Commonwealth to find a plain black Sixty8 cowl that matches my Bonnie Black about 4 months ago.
