I just realized I failed to take a picture of my Alaska "Butt Pad" sheep's wool seat cover. It made all the difference in the world on yesterday's ride. This factory seat sucks big time! Still trying to get with Corbin for a Smuggler.

The following is what I've done so far to my new ride. The 3M vinyl kit was picked up for me by my buddy at Road Riders in San Jose. Ten bucks gets you 4 pre-cut pieces of vinyl to aid in protection of your painted surfaces. I couldn't fit the big pieces on the tank anywhere, so I used them to protect my side covers. It has bubbles when you first put them on, but it smooths out to an almost invisible shield of protection. Lockhart Phillips clear 3M vinyl 4 pc kit:

I made this because I can't remember directions to save my life; it's pretty handy. Custom map/directions holder:

I'm going crazy w/o a tach'. So as suggested, I rode her up to the rev' limiter in each gear and noted where it kicked in. Approximate 7200rpm at 1st-4th:

I hooked this up to the battery under the seat, and it hangs for use with either a Battery Tender or as an outlet for an electric air pump:

(DOES ANYBODY HAVE A PICTURE OF HIS/HER BIKE WITH OMAR'S ABBREVIATED FAIRING ON IT, AND WHAT'DA YA THINK OF THE PROTECTION IT OFFERS?)

Pat,1 suggestion.put one of your spare vacuum caps on that male power prong to protect from damage and corrosion.

I admire that directions/map holder. Looks a trifle goofy, but very useful.

I'd be interested to see another picture of the protective film once it's had a chance to set. Right now it looks a little bit too prominent to me.
