I just ordered fork springs, but i need to get rear shocks. Are there any others besides progressive, icon and Hagon?

Dazco-check around for Ohlins. I believe their crusier type will work and give you a great marquee name. I just put on a set of Ikon adjustable rear shocks I got from New Bonneville and it completely changes the bike for the better. You can easily adjust dampening & pre load for any type on riding. It really feels like the bike rides 100 times smoother. Spend the extra and get them. My bike is an '04 Bonnie, but check direct with Ikon and set if they make the adjustables for the Speedie.

I did check out the ohlins, but as i recall they didn't make them for the cruisers. tho i may be mistaken......may have been that they didn't make the ones i WANTED for the cruisers. i'll check again tho since that was a while back. Thanks for the reminder.

Yea, the ohlin site doesn't show any models for the twins except the bonnie. I suppose i'll end up with icons. Do you happen to know the icon website, or do they even have one? I cannot find it for the life of me.

Why don't you check on the Ba.com forum since they are more specific to what you ride?

Other Motorcycle: 66 Bonnie Chop
Just installed Hagon Classics from Bella Corse, stock ride height, chrome body/spring. So far, only a few miles but the harshness and pogoing are gone. I'll give it a proper 200+ mile ride on Sunday but so far very pleased. The Ikons offer rebound and damping adjustment versus the rebound only of the Hagons but I couldn't see $400 for a pair of shocks. From what I've read, Ohlins would be even more pricey. So far the Hagons seem to suit my cruiser needs. I do notice the non-progressive fork springs now and will replace them over the winter with new fluid.
