We just picked a 2005 Bonneville for my wife. She's 5'4" and can get about half of her foot down from the stock saddle. Does anyone know of a replacement seat available that will lower her riding position?
unless you create a custom seat (which i'm thinking of doing for myself) I don't think there are any aftermarket seats specific for the Bonnie which significantly lower the seating position ( i could be wrong.) Lowering the bike itself is another option. Third, platform riding boots...lol.
Take a look at www.buttbuffer.com. They can lower your stock seat an inch or more and make it more comfortable also. This should be much cheaper cost-wise than a new seat. The down-side is you may be without the seat for a week or two.

The Triumph solo seat is thinner and narrower in front so the ground can be reached better.$240+/- from Hermy`s delivered. The suspension can be lowered [and improved] for a couple hundred bucks and custom seats can be made or the stocker modified. All viable options to boost her confidence.
