My dealer tells me that Triumph bumped its second service from 8K to 12K miles. Does this sound right to anyone? I'm at 10K miles now and have a feeling that I'm due for that valve adjustment. I don't think Triumph would extend this if it would put their bikes at risk.

I believe the 12000 mile service is actually the third service on Triumphs revised recommended schedule.
1st: 500-800 miles or 1 month whichever comes first.
2nd: 6000 miles or 1 year whichever comes first.
3rd: 12000 miles or 2 years whichever comes first.

Yup, you're right. Just an insight for everyone though. At 6000 miles, all they do is change your oil and filter. Save yourself the money and do it yourself.....then it's 12,000....I stand corrected. :upthumb:
