Went out for a ride on Saturday saw about 100 Harleys & Harley clones a couple of gixxers I rode with for awhile on the 101, some silly looking bubble gum ice creams colored choppers, and 2 other Bonnies. One I past heading south highway 1 nearing Santa Monica, and the other heading north as I pulled of at Sunset beach to morn my surfing days. Also one very clean 2001 Speed Triple.
Good to see you guys out there

I've got my own loop here in denver that I take that has about 6 triumphs on it. Naturally this is the reason I take it, except they are always parked.....who's not been riding them? :???: :-D

Saw a bonnie go by sunday on hollywood blvd while chomping down on some junk food. Can't recall the last time i saw one, but i think i've seen a few. Saw my first thruxton a couple weeks ago. As for the other twins, i've never seen a SM or america anywhere. This is all of course excepting on showroom floors where i've seen em all. The fewer i see the more i like owning a triumph. Imagine being a harley rider ! Every time you turn a corner it would be like looking in a mirror. :-D

In little 'ol Huntsville, Alabama, I've seen two other Bonnevilles's, one thruxton, and a couple of America's on the rode in the past 6 months. I was kind of surprised to see that many around here. - dh

Agreed, nothing like seeing other Triumphs while on the road. Out recently with a Daytona 955 and a Duc we stopped at Ragged point. Parked there were Black Bonnie, America, and a Speedmaster. I had never seen and America or Speedmaster. Of course I had to compliment the riders on their impeccable taste in scooters. Five triumphs in one lot amongst all the hardleys was so cool.

What was a Bonnie doing chomping on junk food? That's a terrible thing to inflict on an inncoent motorcycle!

While having a good ride out the other day I passed several old Sunbeams, AJSs , Nortons etc belt driven hand changers up to very recent. I felt I was driving a bike which represented very best of the earlier designs.
I eventually found where they were going, it was a vintage rally and I was surprised to see half the riders although definitely vintage, were on Bonnevilles. It seems they cannot give the time and effort to ride old bikes and love the new. I am pleased to say I was accepted with no reserve. :-D

Saw a Bonneville America, along with what looked like another Bonnie and maybe a Daytona going north on I-5 just north of Seattle...I was going the other way in the Explorer hauling the tent trailer to Oregon for the week.....
Cool to see Triumphs out there, not many around WA.

Seems like spotting a Triumph on the road in most places isn't any more likely than spotting bigfoot. :-D Gotta love that. I figure when i finally run into another T rider it'll be like instant brotherhood. But then i may never find out !

What part of LA you in dazco? I may need a Langer's Deli (7th & Alvarado) fix soon and ride down to satisfy that urge. After harvest for me, so a couple of months away. Least we had the rain last year so November should be dry. We can ogle each others rides and I'll treat to the best pastrami you've ever eaten :-D
