I just had the bike dyno`d.
It put out 64.1 hp.
The mechanic told me it isn't showing sign of running lean.
He thought it ran great & likes the Thunder pipes.
Told me bike was running fine & did not need to rejett.
Said if I check the spark plugs to look at the electrode for signs of running lean, not the ceramic.

So aside from snorkel removal and thunderbike pipes your bike is stock? This is about a 3 HP difference over the stock specs which is hardly what they advertise. (28% power increase advertised) I wonder if the snorkel removal hinders the power gained with the TBP's?

You are right.
The bike was not dyno`d with the snorkel in.
But you can feel the increase in midrange acceleration right away after removing it.
I do have AI removed & the air screws out 4 turns.
I also changed the sprockett to a 17 tooth a couple of weeks ago & I really like it.
The bike hit a 128 mph on the dyno.
It would not do that in real world conditions, but the mechanic was impressed.
I never expected a 28% increase.
The guys at the dealer ship liked the sound of the pipes also.

I believe that the stock HP specs refer to power at the crank, not the rear wheel, as is measured by the dyno....I believe 64 HP is pretty good....

Yes, 64 hp on our bike is very good!! I think mine did 52 when I had it on the dyno stock.

I have seen some graphs where hp dropped after snorkel removal.
