Here is a 12MB quicktime(.mov) video of me on my Thruxton a few weeks ago at a track day at Jennings GP in northern Florida. I spliced the best clips together but it is still a little shaky. If you don't have Quicktime you can get it for free from the apple.com website.

Hope you like it. Tell me the Predators don't sound somewhat Ducati -like in this video.

Nice video. Tell us about the bike and mods you did for your track laps.

You're getting around there pretty good. looks smooth -

They do sound a little like a Duc. Actually, more like a Triumph.

Fantastic. You look like you're having a pretty good time. I guess I need to book a track day for myself.

Thanks for the comments guys. My bike is totally stock except for the predator pipes, bar end mirrors and a lap timer mounted for track days. That was my 2nd track day on the Thruxton, 7th track day over all on a bike but I have been racing cars and doing car track days for about 7 years. The bike is really well suited to the track. All I did to prepare was lower the tire pressures about 4 pounds at both ends from the stock settings to get a better contact patch. I left the suspension settings stock.

Cool Jonah...

on the first lap, I thought to myself..."what the F---? Is there a pickup driving in the other direction?"

How'd the bike keep up with the "racing" bikes? Lose any ground? any noticable difference in the straights...the turns? Did you ever hit the rev limiter?

I've never been on a track...looks like fun, but I'd probably kill myself :hammer:

In the turns I could stay with most of the bikes in the intermedediate group I was running with. In the straights I got smoked by most all of the bikes both due to horsepower and brakes. I think I could be a lot faster with better brakes similar to those on the sportbikes. As for the rev limiter, I hit it a few times but the power really drops off up top so there really isn't much sense banging around the rev limiter.
