Where I live is aprox. two hrs. away from the nearest Triumph dealer. I do most of my own wrenching and need an on-line source for oem parts. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm only an hour and half away from my dealer. I'm well acquainted with the parts guys now--I simply phone them and tell them what I need. If it is something that could be a little complicated finding--like the instrument wire harness, I remain on the line to help in the computer search.
What I haven't done is explore the possibility of them shipping the parts to me. I have an 8 month old grand-daughter in the same town as the dealer, so I go there at least once every two weeks and sometimes once a week. :-D
I would suggest phoning your dealer's parts department and ask them if they can supply your needs, including shipping if that is what you need. If my dealer orders parts from Triumph on Friday, they are usually there on the following Wednesday.

I believe the sources listed in the above posts are very good sources; however, I believe most of them are for "after market" parts. My dealer even sells some of the after market items from one of the above vendors. I believe new OEM parts are only available at Triumph dealers.

Also, you might email Triumph of Arkansas and ask what they will do for you on OEM parts. They advertise at the top of the TriumphRat.net screen as being "on-line and ready to ship". I believe the Triumph of Arkansas dealer has a very good reputation.

Hermy's is a Triumph dealer and will order OEM parts and ship them to you. From PA to TN, a part in stock took 2-3 days, and a part not in stock at Hermy's but available from Triumph warehouse took 10 days.

Look for customer service info for telephone number and you can call them. Shipping is very reasonable.

I too would really like to have an online catalog. I used to access the Yamaha parts fiche for my bike and order parts online at 70-80% of the phone or shop price, plus not having to pay sales tax covered the shipping costs. Only problem was that if something was backordered, I didn't know until the rest of the order came in or I called the dealer. Best alternative for a Bonnie is a service manual and someone competent at the other other end of the line.

For you true DIY folks. It gets easier with the proper part numbers.
I purchased the CD of the part numbers and illustrations from this site:
http://www.fiche-man.com/Index.htm
It's in UK, but the final product comes out to about $25 to your door, in a couple of weeks.
If you don't have a manual, just seeing the pictures helps in some situations. I use the CD along with the manual.

I stopped giving my local dealer my parts business when I realized they stock zero parts for Triumph. I have to wait for them and make two trips? I'm buying online with no trips.
