I'd like to uprate my suspension to be more "dual purpose". The stock set-up is OK-ish on tarmac (it could be firmer) but on a farm track it's downright bouncy! Has anyone found any springs and shockers that are progressive enough to work well in both situations or is it an either/or situation?

Calvin,

Contact Hagon below. They are truly superb. They will make anything you want and to your specifications. They have a good range for the Bonneville and they will also make adjustmens to suit your bike, your weight and the functions you want it for.

They go to the N.E.C. show each year.

Calvin,

I'm building-up a street tracker T100. I'm using 370mm Hagon Nitros and matching front springs. Norman Hyde skid plate and DP tires like those used on the Tiger (can't remember the model number). I'm still on the fence about the Hyde scrambler pipes.

Calvin - I'm using Hagon Nitro's as well, a great performing shock for the money - a little on the heavy side- All Stainless steel construction - but adjustments for both compression and rebound damping make it worth while for me. Huge range of springs and lengths. JCW

Cheers for the advice, guys. I'll probably phone Hagon to explain my needs. To clarify, what I'm looking for is very definitely a road bike; but with good "green lane" manners.
