I bought a windscreen on E-bay, it was supposed to be a Roadster that I was planning on using in the fall. I received a summer screen instead which I believe was an honest mistake by the seller. I guess I can live with it except that there were no installation instructions. Lots of hardware which I suspect might be utilized for more than one bike. The biggest problem is how the chrome brackets attach to the fork tree.by the instruments. Any picture or instructions would be greatly appreciated. I need to make a decision soon as to whether or not to keep it.

Thanks

Anchorbend, PM me with your email address and I will email you the instructions. I had scanned them for Sarah a while back. The email here on the forum does not work for me for some reason.

If you need additional information, you can contact me as well. I have the Roadster instructions at home.

Hey Anchorbend,

I would be interested in knowing if you bought your windscreen from a particular motorcycle shop in Southern California? The reason I ask is that I won an auction for some parts for my bike and they shipped me the wrong parts, twice! They are a Yamaha shop and should stick to selling metric bike parts, 'cause they don't know anything about British bikes. Does this sound familiar?

Would that shop happen to be a Yamaha dealer in North County?

There was a certain shop on E-bay that was had a Triumph tank bra on sale for a Bonnie. I emailed them and asked them if they were sure it was for a Bonnie and not for an BA or SM, I didn't think Triump made them for Bonnies, and it had the tank cut for a BA/SM. They replied that it was a for a Bonneville. I didn't bid on it because I knew better, and low a behold a month later I see it on sale again. This time with big words that says it does not fit a Standard Bonneville.

Thanks to CarlS I now have the instructions whiich will be very helpful. I won teh screen on E-Bay. It was advertised as a Roadster but is in fact a Summer Screen in new condition. It did not come from California. Also thanks to Bosoxrider for his offer.
