I wussed out. I planned on it rain or shine but 60% chance of t-storms in Houston and Emily in the gulf made me think twice.

I'm retired, but I intend to ride into the old workplace, and say, that I'm going to go for a long ride today in honor of those that are working today. Sounds fair to me.. Most of the guys I worked with are bikers :-D ya think it will bother them that I'm off rideing while they are working :???:

I rode to work today. I normally ride to work.

I can't say I'm hard core though. It's only two miles and the weather is beautiful today.

From Wisperinsmith from Massachusetts. Wenatchee, WA. Wow. I was in the Brick in Roslyn not long ago and then the Gorge to see Paul Simon back awhile. You live in God's country. I envy you your rides!

Cool. My first job ever was concessions at the Gorge!

Yeah, we've got some really great, diverse scenery around here. Riverside highways, twisty mountain rodes, desert plateaus and rolling countrysides all within a half hour's ride.

Not that I'm bragging. :-D Thanks. :whoops:
