I'm new to this forum and am wondering if the T-100 is a good first bike for a skinny(165lbs) guy who only has dirt bike experience?
I would like to buy in the next couple of days.
Thanx

Other Motorcycle: Don't need another one!
Yes, buy one, they're great bikes and easy to ride. Just don't try riding the berm on it!

My T100 was my first bike in January, only a little dirt expeirience about 20 years ago. Its a great first bike, well balanced and well behaved, loads of fun in the curves. (All men love curves, don't we? )

Take the MSF class, though. It was very helpful, and made me a lot more confident the first time I mixed it up with the 2500 pound cages at 55 mph!

Enjoy

Hey BigRig,

T100 is a wonderful bike. It's a fun manageable bike for both new and experienced riders.

Enjoy.

Great bike BigRig. Heck, some folks have no riding experience and with the MSF course do just fine. You have dirt experience, you'll do fine. Go buy it and enjoy it.

I hadn't been on a bike in over 15 years and most of my experience was on dirt, as I'd had a rode bike for only 3 years in the late 80's. I bought a T100 and it has been a rock solid machine and have great riding charactaristics. A friend of mine purchased a kawasaki laid back 800cc cruiser at the same time I got mine...it was a load of fun watching him trying to do figure 8s before he got his license.

That settles it then, I'm buying it!
It's such a great looking vintage style bike and the price is right.
Now I just need to clear it with my Fiance ">

I'm a skinny girl who grew up on mopeds and three wheelers. The Bonneville is fine for me
