Single Seat and Rack Mod ...

Any thoughts on strengthening the seat cowl element of the single seat and rack with rigid pre preg carbon fibre sheeting? It seems to me that the cowl is the weakest link. I've found a supplier and it's relatively inexpensive size A5 and in various depths 1mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm

What is that? Is it easy to use? Can it be used in other applications (presumably)?

I cut a piece of aluminum sheet that's approximately 2mm thick and sandwiched it between the seat pan and cowl to add a little rigidity. Seems to work well. Not nearly as much flex as there was before.
