Hi everyone,Iam looking for a black rubber tank pad for my 2009 Bonnie!I want the type of tank pad that fits on the top of the lower part of the gas tank.I was told Triumph used to make one that you could glue on.The pad is used to protect the paint on your gas tank when you lean foward as you are speeding down the highway.I really need some help because they seem to be impossible to find!If anyone has one that they would like to sell I would be more than glad to send you a money order asap! Thanks to all and ride safe...Evan
I have never seen a triumph version although there are lots of after market tank protection. I'd be surprised that you would be leaning that low on a Bonnie to scratch your tank with your jacket zipper/buttons
Most auto supply outlets have a clear version. Just cut to size and use a heat gun or hair drier to help shape as the backing is removed. I had this on my VTR 1000 F (Firestorm) for 8 years. when I traded the Storm on a Street Triple the tank looked like new.
