Aviod These
Hi Just a word of warning about these brake pads sold on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRIUM...Q5fAccessories
They are very poor quality and look recycled or even used. The thickness of the friction material is about 4mm and one side is thicker than the other. I won't even bother to put them on my bike a waste of $30.

It states that: "This KEVLAR pads are made of copper, alloy, tin, graphite and other metalic elements"
I was under the impression that KEVLAR was a man-made product made from a synthetic materials called polymers...
What a novel idea, lets all buy the cheapest, no name, untested, and no information available, set of brake pads from a no name e-Bay seller.
I tend not to buy anything from outfits that have such things as "Extreme", "Max", "Pro", "Solutions", etc in their name, but that's just me.

Quite right, there. If doesn't have a brand name and is sold on Ebay and nowhere else, I'd say steer clear.

Yeah, one would assume that Kevlar brake pads are made of, ermm... KEVLAR? But that's probably just me being naive, Kevlar brake pads made from copper are obviously superior to Kevlar pads made from Kevlar.
On a similar note, I just got some awesome leather pants made from denim.
All the same, thanks for the heads-up Engmex.

+1 . I tried them . They're utter garbage. Not just do they not fit right but they actually are " gummy" and would never trust them EVER if you like to ride agressively . Just dump the extra coin and get Galfers or something.

Brake pads
Not a good item to go cheap. I wouldn't dare, the real thing is cheap enough anyway.

there are 3 things in life that you should definitely not try to save a buck on:
brakes,
condoms,
and parachutes
(well there are probably more, but these are all I can think of at the moment)
