Hi,

Ive just replaced my t100 fork springs with hagon progressives. Recommended oil level is 150mm down from the top (with fork compressed and empty of internals) using 20 SAE oil (checked with hagon...these are their recommendations)

Has anyone used this recommended set up.......any thoughts on the resulting ride quality...changes made?

Just done exactly the same mod yesterday, plus i also fitted a pair of Hagon icon rear shocks at the same time.
The diffence was outstanding, it now handles like it's on rails, compared to the stock set-up, where the handling was more like riding on marbles.

I did exact same on my Scram a while back.
The Hagon springs came complete with a litre of 20W oil.
Set up by the book was fine and, in conjunction with fitting Ikons on the back, it transformed the ride.

I also took the opertunity of fitting pre-load adjusters which greatly aided the set-up.
Simple mod but very effective.............

Thanks Chaps, thats good to hear.

I have Hagon classics (shrouded) on the back so Im looking forward to some decent weather and a chance to give it a try.

Need to think about the next mod now......

OK, how much rider sag do you thing is correct for me, I'm 71kg plus my riding gear.

Did mine with Hagon springs last fall. The only further work I'll do on the forks is add a little more pre-load. It's a very smooth spring. For comparison I usually run racetech's but went for a change.
